1. Prepare Your Hardware

Ensure your device (Raspberry Pi, Mini PC, etc.) has Ubuntu installed and is connected to the internet via Ethernet or Wi-Fi. We support both ARM64 (Pi) and x86 architectures.

2. Create Your Account

From your Ubuntu device, visit the Gavety website and go to the Sign Up / Login page. Create a new account to manage your private cloud nodes.

3. Add a New Device

After logging in, click on Add New Device. You will be prompted to complete a one-time setup paymen and a minimal yearly infrastructure cost before receiving your unique installation string.

4. Run Installation Command

Copy your unique command from the dashboard and paste it into your Ubuntu terminal.

You will be asked to enter your system password. This is required to install the Gavety P2P orchestration layer and secure your disk mounts.
Keep your device powered ON and ensure the internet is not interrupted during the 3-5 minute installation process.

5. Optimization & Headless Setup

Once the terminal says "Success":

From any phone, tablet, or PC worldwide, log in to your Gavety dashboard. Your hardware will appear as Online. Click Access Device to start managing your files with zero monthly fees.
